Job summary

Egis Ireland is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead transportation and active travel projects from our Dublin network. The role involves supervision of construction activities, contract administration, reporting and coordination with client, design teams and authorities to ensure successful delivery.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, 5–10 years of experience, strong construction methods knowledge and proven ability to lead project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of field and project experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods.
• Experience in project planning, cost control and problem solving.
• Evidence of leading project and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical supervision for transportation and active travel works.
• Supervise construction activities including earthwork, drainage and road infrastructure.
• Assist in contract administration, progress monitoring and reporting.
• Prepare project documentation and monitor quality, time and cost.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve technical and site-related issues.
