Job summary

Linn Dara CAMHS in Dublin is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based OT services to adolescents in an inpatient CAMHS setting. You will contribute to multidisciplinary assessments, interventions, and discharge planning to support complex mental health needs.

The role involves leading care planning with young people and families, facilitating groups, and supervising junior staff while staying current with best practice and audits.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Occupational Therapy recognised by CORU.
• Registration with CORU (or eligible for registration).
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Experience in mental health and/or CAMHS preferred.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions to adolescents with acute mental health needs.
• Develop individualised, recovery-oriented care plans with young people and families.
• Facilitate groups focusing on emotional regulation, life skills, sensory modulation and social participation.
• Provide risk assessment and management within the inpatient setting.
• Contribute to discharge planning and continuity of care with community CAMHS.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with standards.
