Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited is seeking a highly capable engineer for Qualcomm Technologies Inc Global CAD team to develop CAD tools, flows, and methodologies for VLSI design. You will focus on interdisciplinary work blending hardware, software, and data analytics to tackle large-scale electronic design challenges.

The role requires strong skills in automated reasoning, AI, constraint programming, and software development with Python, C/C++, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge on automated reasoning approaches of artificial intelligence and/or operation research.
• Deep understanding of graph theory algorithms and data-structures.
• Proven ability to design and implement highly optimized constraint reasoning methods.
• Proven ability to develop high quality software: versioning, testing, continuous integration and continuous deployment, and documentation.
• Excellent computer programming skills in Python are required.
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, applied mathematics, or a related field.
• The ability to collaborate with engineers in an interdisciplinary team to understand the needs from electronic design requirements.
• The ability to communicate and engage across a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated reasoning approaches to solve VLSI design problems using AI, constraint programming, SAT, IP, and metaheuristics.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate CAD tools and flows.
• Develop high-quality software with versioning, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.
