Cylynt is seeking an experienced Software Engineer (C Developer) to design, implement, and optimize features while maintaining code quality and reliability. You will coordinate with front-end and back-end teams across the infrastructure stack to deliver scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes collaborative problem solving, secure coding practices, and a commitment to high-quality software in a remote-first environment with occasional Dublin onboarding visits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in C/C++ development.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, NGINX, Node, and databases (MySQL/Postgres/MariaDB).
• Experience with system architecture or leading a team is an advantage.
• Degree in Computer Science/IT is essential.
• Authorization to work in Ireland is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code.
• Implement optimized and high-quality modules.
• Identify process bottlenecks and bugs.
• Collaborate with front-end and backend developers.
• Review code and design, analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability.
• Provide post-production support.
