Job summary

Archer Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer for 100% remote work based in Ireland. You will own backend initiatives and build low-latency payment systems within a global fintech environment.

You’ll work on greenfield code and high-visibility projects with fast progression as the platform expands into new markets. Remote, Ireland-based role with strong emphasis on architectural ownership and performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on C++ software engineering experience in production setups.
• Strong background in multi-threaded programming, high-concurrency architecture, and REST API design.
• Solid experience working with relational databases and writing performance-tuned SQL.

Responsibilities

• Take Ownership: Drive backend initiatives end-to-end, taking features from initial architectural design through to release.
• Build Payment Systems: Engineer and scale high-throughput, low-latency C++ applications powering global transaction flows.
• Ship Greenfield Code: Build brand-new backend components using C++, Golang, PHP, and HTML.
• Collaborate: Partner closely with internal developers, support teams, and external client partners to solve complex engineering challenges.
