SENIOR BUYER: An industry-leading electronics manufacturer with a strong global presence is seeking an experienced SENIOR BUYER to join its Supply Chain team. The Senior Buyer will manage key supplier relationships, ensuring the best balance of cost, quality and delivery. This newly created position offers the chance to shape procurement strategy alongside a dynamic supply chain team, driving value and supporting the company’s sustainability goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers of electronic components to ensure optimal availability and performance.
  • Strategic Negotiation: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms and lead times, leveraging market intelligence and commodity analysis to secure competitive advantages.
  • Procurement Strategy: Align purchasing activities with overall business objectives, contributing innovative ideas to enhance supply chain performance.
  • Cost & Risk Management: Identify cost-reduction opportunities, manage supply risks and mitigate potential disruptions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production, engineering and quality teams to support project success and maintain seamless material flow.
  • Market Expertise: Stay up to date with electronics market trends, emerging technologies and supplier developments.
  • Process Improvement: Drive efficiency and compliance through continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 7 years’ procurement experience.
  • Experience sourcing electronics components.
  • Proven success in supplier negotiation, cost management and sourcing strategies.
  • Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP or procurement systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative leader who thrives in a team-oriented environment.
