Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior stakeholders to pinpoint growth opportunities and shape business plans that align with firm-wide strategy.
- Support Partners and their teams with targeted business development by tracking ROI, managing cross-selling opportunities, key client relationships, and developing strategic growth plans tied to financial performance.
- Lead and oversee the full bid and tender lifecycle — from strategy to coordination with Pricing and Design teams and managing post-bid reviews.
- Prepare client presentations, capability statements, and supporting materials, ensuring consistency with the firm’s brand and visual identity.
- Lead and contribute to the delivery of campaigns, client events, and the BD activity that supports seminars and external engagements.
- Provide research-led insights and analysis to identify growth areas, prioritise key themes, and support the expansion of new and existing client relationships in line with BD plans.
- Champion the use of BD technology, particularly the CRM (InterAction) and central bids tool (Foundation), ensuring both systems fully utilised to support opportunities and workflow.
- Coordinate submissions for legal directories and ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Drive PR initiatives aligned with strategic priorities, elevating Partner profiles and highlighting the firm’s expertise in the market.
- Manage a Business Development & Marketing Executive, ensuring strong delivery for Partners and keeping content and credentials current on the firm’s content management platform.
- Develop and implement business development plans to deepen client relationships and accelerate growth in target markets.
- Collaborate closely with other Business Services leaders, including Finance and HR, to support integrated business development activity.
Candidate Profile / Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in BD management position, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Work as part of a team to deliver all projects on time.
- High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently.
