Job summary

Cairn is seeking a high-calibre Building Services Engineer to assist in managing the mechanical and electrical services design and installation on its high-density residential projects. Reporting to the Building Services Manager, you will coordinate with design teams, manage on-site M&E activities, and support problem solving across multiple sites in Ireland.

The role requires a relevant background with 4+ years post-qualification experience, a proactive approach, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• 4+ years post-qualification experience in a similar project management role.
• Interest in energy management and emerging trends in residential building services.
• Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Continuously manage and monitor the installation quality for M&E systems on residential projects, from coordination to commissioning.
• Support site teams in leading M&E coordination and assist with onsite problem solving.
• Coordinate with design teams for M&E interfaces with architectural/structural elements.
• Oversee M&E sub-contractors onsite to ensure programme and quality targets are met.
• Liaise with utility providers and authorities to ensure timely delivery of services to new developments.
