Qualifications

• 6+ years’ professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and backend systems design.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
• Strong SQL and database fundamentals.
• Experience building and scaling production systems.
• Analytical mindset with comfort operating in data-heavy environments.
• Ability to mentor and influence technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable Java-based RESTful services.
• Develop and maintain containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to secure identity and access management.
• Collaborate closely with data engineering teams on complex datasets.
• Drive best practice in code quality, performance and architecture.
• Support Azure-based cloud infrastructure.
