Stripe in Dublin, Ireland, is hiring a Senior Developer Productivity Engineer to build and improve our core CI systems and developer experience across engineering teams.

You will design and ship scalable tooling, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product teams to meet productivity goals, including AI-assisted delivery initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional hands-on software development experience.
• Hands-on experience designing and building large scale distributed systems.
• A track record of technically mentoring junior and senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Scope and lead large technical projects with enormous impact for engineers within Stripe.
• Design, build, and maintain the core CI systems used by all of Stripe’s engineering teams.
• Scrutinize and reason clearly about the technology and architecture choices we make in building these products.
• Directly contribute to core interface design and write code; serve as a role model for high-quality software.
• Arbitrate critical decisions with best practices, system realities, and stakeholder concerns.
• Teach and mentor the next generation of technical leaders at Stripe.
• Drive AI-assisted implementation, ops, and delivery within the team.
