Job summary

Impact Engineering Ltd seeks a Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer to join a key Dublin site with site-based work and some home-office flexibility. The role requires hands-on DeltaV coding, testing, and commissioning within pharma/biotech environments.

You will lead project execution and provide operational support across multiple DeltaV configurations, interfacing with engineering teams and ensuring GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years working experience as an Automation Engineer in a Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical plant.
• 5+ years’ experience with Emerson DeltaV (coding & testing).
• On site, pharmaceutical experience is essential.
• Hands on coding experience and an understanding of S88 is required.
• Knowledge of GMPs, regulatory requirements, or computer system validation.
• Ability to interact and communicate with other engineering and business disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Execute automation projects on the customer site in Dublin.
• Provide ongoing operational support for DeltaV systems.
• Code, test and commission DeltaV configurations on-site.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with GMP/regulatory requirements.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer at Impact Engineering. This role is based on a key customer site in Dublin who have a number of projects ongoing and more upcoming next year. This role is predominantly site based with some flexibility working from home.

This position involves a wide variety of different responsibilities including executing projects and providing operational support. For that reason, applicants need to have a strong technical background in coding, testing and commissioning.
