We are a business law firm with extensive knowledge and experience in the following sectors: Energy; Technology; Financial Services, Built Environment and Healthcare & Life Sciences. We also have deep expertise on the intersection of technology and healthcare law and are one of the few advisors in Ireland with this experience.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to work in a specialist area in a top tier law firm and to join the only standalone products team in Ireland - working with some of the worlds leading companies. We are seeking ambitious Associates and Senior Associates to join our highly regarded Products Teams. The successful candidate will work with clients on the application of domestic and EU regulatory regimes throughout the lifecycles of their products. We have unique multi-jurisdictional experience in high value product liability litigation, with particular expertise in the healthcare industry.

Candidate Requirements
  • 5 years + post qualification experience in either a regulatory role, litigation role or a role comprising of both;
  • Experience in life sciences, consumer products, healthcare – contentious and non-contentious will be a distinct advantage;
  • Experience in product liability, particularly Life Sciences product liability defence, will be a distinct advantage;
  • Candidates with defence litigation in the insurance sector will be considered.
Responsibilities of the role include
  • Advising pharmaceutical, medical device, cosmetic and consumer product manufacturers on all regulatory aspects of their products throughout the product life cycle.
  • Providing EU regulatory advice to global technology companies and developers of innovative digital health solutions seeking to launch their products on the EU market.
  • Advising pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer product and food and beverage clients on regulatory investigations.
  • Representing clients in regulatory enforcement actions, civil claims and criminal proceedings.
  • Managing complex product liability litigation, both at group and multi party level in a national and global context.
