AIG is seeking candidates for the Security Remediation Team within Cyber Threat and Vulnerability Management under ISO. The team detects, responds to and protects against cyber threats to deliver a safe cyber experience for AIG and clients.

Responsibilities include partnering with Threat Intelligence, analyzing vulnerabilities, engaging with application owners and systems admins to create actionable remediation plans, and delivering progress updates against SLAs.

Job description

AIG is looking for candidates for the Security Remediation Team, which is part of Cyber Threat and Vulnerability Management under ISO. Our goal is to detect, respond and protect from cyber threat actors, and to provide AIG and our clients a safe cyber experience. SRT's objective is to prevent vulnerabilities from being exploited by managing application and infrastructure changes using highly efficient and transparent strategies. We do this by interacting directly with business units, applications and systems owners (both domestic and international) and review threat intelligence data that affect AIG assets. SRT provides the business and systems owners guidance to remediate or mitigate these cyber threats within specific SLA timeframes based on severity. The candidate will learn from experienced personnel how to use various industry leading security tools, and also an in-house system built with various API level integrations which provides a unique single "pane of glass" overview of AIG's database of assets worldwide.

Responsibilities for this role are:

• Partner with AIG's world class Threat Intelligence teams and review the latest cyber threats.
• Analyze these vulnerabilities and against AIG assets to effectively rank and triage these threats.
• Engage with application owners, systems administrators, and business delivery teams to ensure that they are able to create actionable and informed decisions.
• Provide timelines and other reporting views to our business executives for progress of these remediation's against SLAs.
