Job summary

Contentful is hiring a Senior AI Software Engineer (f/m/d) to join the AI Platform team in Dublin. You will build scalable AI integrations, APIs, tools, and documentation to accelerate AI-driven product development across feature teams.

You’ll collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver AI-enabled features, design scalable platform components in TypeScript/Node.js, and continuously improve AI workflows, performance, and reliability across Contentful’s products.

Qualifications

• Experience building APIs and services that handle large traffic.
• Experience with serverless architectures and edge compute (e.g., Cloudflare Workers).
• Experience with asynchronous systems for automation and bulk use cases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying AI models/microservices.
• Knowledge of enterprise governance features (RBAC, audit logging, compliance).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI services (AWS/Azure/GCP, SageMaker, Google AI, Azure ML).
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills for cross-team AI features.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build AI-enabled features.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI platform features using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Implement AI technologies to enhance platform capabilities and user experiences.
• Think critically about AI model interactions with product components for cohesive UX.
• Fix bugs and improve AI performance and data pipelines.
• Contribute to code reviews and improve AI development processes.
• Stay up-to-date with AI trends to keep the platform competitive.
