Job summary

Dell Technologies seeks a Senior AI Developer in Dublin or Cork to design, build, and optimize scalable software solutions powering AI-native applications and enterprise platforms. You’ll leverage your software engineering expertise with hands-on AI/ML and LLM experience to enable intelligent workflows, data processing, and automation across product teams.

You will work with Product Managers, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Platform Engineers to deploy secure, scalable, and production-ready

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Python, .NET Core, RESTful APIs, Blazor.
• 2+ years of hands-on AI-enabled app development (LLMs, RAG, MPC, Prompt Engineering).
• Experience delivering production AI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams.
• Experience building AI-powered apps beyond PoC stage.

Responsibilities

Senior AI Developer (Location: Dublin or Cork) As a Senior AI Developer you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable software solutions that power next-generation AI-native applications and enterprise platforms. This role combines strong software engineering expertise with hands‑on experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Large Language Models (LLMs), enabling the development of robust systems that support intelligent workflows, data processing, model integration, automation, and AI‑assisted decision making. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Platform Engineers to deploy and operate enterprise‑grade AI solutions that are secure, scalable, and production‑ready.

You will:

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered enterprise applications and services.
• Build scalable platforms that support the next generation of AI-native enterprise tooling.

Essential Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience (Python, .NET Core, RESTful APIs, Blazor).
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience building and deploying AI‑enabled applications (LLMs, RAG, MPC, Prompt Engineering, Conversational AI).
• Experience delivering enterprise‑grade AI solutions into production environments.
• Proven ability to work across engineering, product, and business teams.
• Experience building AI‑powered applications beyond proof‑of‑concept stage.

Desirable:

• Experience with advanced AI/ML technologies, including machine learning frameworks, statistical modelling techniques, LLM fine‑tuning, RAG/Graph RAG architectures.
• Experience with modern cloud, data, and engineering practices, including Docker and containerization, CI/CD pipelines, Databricks, SSIS, Power BI integration.
