Job summary

Amach, headquartered in Dublin, is seeking an automated testing specialist to strengthen backend QA through Selenium-driven test automation. You will design, implement, and maintain automated tests for backend services and APIs, validate integrations, and contribute to robust CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with developers, QA engineers and product teams to improve coverage and quality, while upholding best practices in test design and tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Selenium test automation.
• Backend testing and automation methodologies.
• Understanding of API and service-layer testing.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and test design patterns.
• Experience working with CI/CD environments and automated deployments.
• Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and QA best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for backend applications and services.
• Build and execute Selenium-based automated test suites.
• Validate backend functionality, APIs, integrations, and system workflows.
• Identify, document, and track defects found during automated testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to improve test coverage and quality standards.
• Maintain reusable automation frameworks and testing utilities.
• Analyse test results and provide clear reporting on system quality and regression status.
