Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a CCTV Controller to operate in a Control Room environment in Ireland. The role requires PSA licencing and involves ensuring security, performing patrols, and maintaining incident records.

Qualifications

• License is essential (PSA Licenced) and SIA Door Supervision/Security Guarding referenced in the duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the site is secure and protected from flood, damage, fire and theft at all times.
• Conduct internal and external patrols of all centre areas including car parks.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, patrols, and checks performed.
• Carry out checks on security equipment and report any defects.
• Comply with data protection regulations for information accessed.
• Hold and use keys according to security procedures; liaise on car park issues with team.
• Perform daily security checks and coordinate with local police and fire services as needed.
• Switch on/off power supplies around the centre.
• Handle evacuations, security alerts and public disorder per training.

Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a CCTV Controller.

This role will be working in a Control Room environment.

We require Officers to be PSA Licenced

Duties as a CCTV Controller

• Ensure the site is secure & protected from Flood, Damage, Fire & Theft at all times
• Internal & external patrols of all centre areas including the car parks
• Maintain an accurate record of any incidents that occur, any patrols that have taken place & any specific checks that have been made
• Ensure relevant checks are carried out on all security plane & equipment used for personal use & report any defects if required
• Comply with all data protection regulations regarding all information accessed during the course of duty
• Ensure all keys are held & used in accordance with all security procedures
• Liaise with the team in relation to any car park issues/faults
• Complete daily security checks
• Liaise where necessary with the local police & fire services to enhance the Security image of the centre
• Switch on/off power supplies as required in and around the centre
• To ensure that all aspects such as evacuations, security alerts & public disorder are attended to in accordance with training received
• To carry out any other security controller related tasks as required by the Security Manager
