Job summary

Londis Ireland is seeking a Security Position with Shop Assistant duties to join our Parkgate Street, Dublin 8 location. The role is a permanent position with either full-time or part-time hours, requiring security duties and customer service responsibilities.

You must have a valid PSA license or relevant retail-security experience; training will cover shop opening/closing and daily operations in a busy convenience store environment.

Qualifications

• Will hold a valid PSA license to work in a security role.
• Retail security experience is required or highly preferred.
• Training provided for responsibilities such as opening/closing the shop.

Responsibilities

• Secure the store and ensure the safety of staff and customers.
• Identify security risks, report breaches to management, and help resolve issues.
• Assist with day-to-day store operations, customer service, packing, and dealing with suppliers.

Security Position with Shop Assistant Duties

This is a permanent full-time or part time position.

Hourly Rate

Negotiable depending on experience.

The Ideal Candidate

Will hold a valid PSA license and will have some security experience. Non-PSA license holders are welcome to apply however you must have some retail security experience. You may be required to hold shop keys and open and close the shop (training provided).

Availability

You must be available to work at least 4 shifts per week including weekends.

Your role

• Responsible for the security of the store and the safety of your colleagues and customers.
• Identify risks to the security of the store. Inform management of security breaches and issues and taking those breaches to a successful conclusion.
• You would also be trained on many aspects of the operations of the store to be able to assist fellow team members throughout the day including serving customers, packing, dealing with suppliers, and also involved in day to day operations of the business.
