Job summary

Qualcomm Ireland’s Security team invites engineers to design and develop advanced Security IP for Snapdragon SoCs, focusing on hardware root of trust and secure processing. You will collaborate with global experts across architecture, software and SoC design to shape secure computing.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Science/Engineering with 2+ years in ASIC design or a Master's/PhD with 1+ year, plus experience in architecture, RTL design, synthesis, timing, and security concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field; 2+ years ASIC design/verification/validation/integration experience.
• Master's degree with 1+ year ASIC design/verification experience; PhD with relevant work.
• ASIC design experience including architecture, RTL design in Verilog/VHDL, low power techniques, UPF.
• Experience with synthesis and timing closure; exposure to security hardware and cryptographic algorithms.
• Exposure to System-on-Chip security concepts and implementation techniques; teamwork in a global setting.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities for security IP and cryptographic accelerators.
• Collaborate across architecture, software, and SoC design teams.
• Contribute to large-scale subsystems including CPUs, NoCs, and key management.
