Job summary

A financial services client in County Waterford seeks an experienced Scrum Master for an interim role. The candidate will guide Agile teams to enhance product delivery, teach Agile principles, and facilitate Scrum ceremonies. This position requires 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and proficiency with JIRA. The contract is for 12 months and requires onsite work in Waterford 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

Job description

We have partnered with our financial services client in their search for an experienced Scrum Master on an interim basis, to support the creation and growth of high‑performing Agile teams by guiding product delivery, coaching team members, and strengthening team dynamics. You will teach Agile principles, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and promote alignment between the Product Owner and the development team. This role may operate as a Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer (RTE), or both. You will foster continuous improvement and act as both a coach and an advocate for effective Agile practices.

An initial 12 month contract is offered and the role holder will be required to work onsite in Waterford 2 days per week.
