Job summary

South St. Paul Public Schools is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a long-term substitute position (1.0 FTE) to support identified students across Lincoln Center and Kaposia Elementary.

The role focuses on designing and implementing therapy services aligned with IEPs. The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Occupational Therapy and current MN OT licensure, with ability to travel between school sites and collaborate with staff, families, and administrators to document progress and ensure

Qualifications

• Master's degree in OT from an accredited program.
• Current Occupational Therapist License issued by the MN Department of Health.
• Minnesota licensure required for employment; background checks as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect Occupational Therapy to identified students in home or school settings.
• Train staff, parents and students on interventions.
• Maintain IEP records and progress data, and meet timelines.
• Collaborate with district motor team on therapy initiatives and best practices.
• Adhere to district policies, due process, and reporting requirements.
