Job Description

To work with the production team in areas outlined below with emphasis on health & safety, quality control and work optimisation. To work as part of a team with the other members.

• The operation of state-of-the-art wood processing / sawmill equipment.
• Setting up and maintenance of wood processing / sawmilling equipment for operation.
• Working with the production team to produce high quality finished product.
• Routine cleaning and maintenance of the machinery.
• Other wood processing / production tasks when required.
• Record job production reports.
• Comply with good manufacturing practices and safety standards.
• Assist with quality control and production planning.
• Work with the existing production team.
• Demonstrate good communication skills.
• Ensure quality in all aspects of work by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.
• Packaging and Labelling of product.
• Complete records, documentation and training as required.
• Carry out additional duties that may be assigned to you.
