Hotel Sales Executive - Full-Time
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and passionate Sales Executive to join our team at The Radisson Blu Sligo and play a key role in achieving our revenue goals. You will be responsible for generating new business, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, and exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through various channels, such as cold calling, networking, and attending trade shows.
- Develop and present compelling proposals to potential clients, showcasing the hotel's offerings and exceeding their expectations.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the hotel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their continued satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase group and individual room bookings, meetings and events, and other hotel services.
- Track and analyze sales performance, identify trends, and report on results to the Sales Manager.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Participate in hotel events and activities to promote the hotel and network with potential clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel sales or a related field.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and a CRM system.
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry is a plus.
