Job summary

Centra Athboy is looking for a Sales Assistant to ensure customer satisfaction as the top priority. You will interact with customers with pride, passion and care, sharing knowledge to inspire shoppers.

This part-time role (approx 20 hours to start) is based at our Athboy Main Street store. You will assist with merchandising, handle customer queries, and support across shifts, including mornings, afternoons and evenings. You must be over 18 to work in the store selling alcohol/tobacco.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible.
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer driven.
• Previous customer service experience is an advantage.

About The Locality
This position is for our Athboy Store, Birds Centra Main Street Athboy Co. Meath
Appox 20 hours to start
Please note that start and finish times stated are only an approximate but will include morning, afternoon and evening shifts. The successul candidate must be available to work across these hours. ( If your availability is different please call into the store and discuss with the store manager on 046 9432115) This is a general sales assistant position and will include working in all areas of the store eg Deli/Meat Dept/Checkouts/Shop Floor
As a sales assistant you are required to sell alcohol/tobacco products thereforeyou must be over 18 towork in the store.
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate
Friday shift:16:30 to 21:00
Saturday shift:07:30 to 16:30
Sunday shift:13:00 to 20:00
