Job summary

Occupli Limited is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to support the implementation and continuous improvement of safety standards across engineering and project environments in Cork, Ireland. The role focuses on promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

You will deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training while supporting teams in developing safe systems of work and documenting safety processes.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH, Diploma, Degree or equivalent health & safety qualification.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within engineering, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training.
• Support project teams in developing safe systems of work and method statements.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
• Promote a proactive and positive safety culture across all activities.
