Job summary

bwgfoods is seeking a dedicated Driver to operate from Portlaoise on a permanent or temporary full-time basis. You will deliver products along designated routes, maintain professional communication with customers, and identify service issues to help improve quality.

The role requires CPC, a clean C licence, and a manual licence, plus experience driving in the Midlands and Dublin area; you should be a team player with initiative and flexible to routes and hours.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Have a valid clean driver’s licence (minimum C licence).
• Must have a manual driving licence (to drive both automatic and manual vehicles).
• Have relevant driving experience in the Midlands and Dublin area.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Motivated and able to work on own initiative.
• Flexibility in terms of routes, tasks, working hours and working days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers in designated routes on time and to the required standard.
• Act as a key point of contact with customers, maintaining professional communication and service quality.
• Identify and report customer service issues to assist in improving the service provided.
