Job summary

Leopardstown Park Hospital in Foxrock, South County Dublin, seeks a Multi-Task Attendant (MTA) for a full-time role within Resident Services. The post covers Household, Portering, Reception, and Administrative support, rotating across services to ensure resident comfort and safety.

The successful candidate will work in a public voluntary hospital, comply with HIQA standards, and contribute to a compassionate, professional environment seven days a week.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Health Service Skills, Healthcare Support or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask and work across multiple departments.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between household, portering, admin, and reception tasks as rostered.
• Carry out duties in accordance with HIQA, infection control, and hospital policies.
• Maintain a courteous, compassionate, and professional manner at all times.
• Deliver general and deep cleaning duties as per the hygiene schedule.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to line manager.
• Greet visitors and manage sign-in logs; respond to queries in person or by phone.
• Carry out clerical tasks including data entry, filing, and scanning.
• Adhere to confidentiality, complete incident forms, and support safety policies.
