Job summary

Turmec is seeking full-time production operatives to join our expanding production team in Ireland. The role covers a rotating shift pattern with morning and evening shifts, reporting to the production supervisor.

You will perform general operational duties across production, work with machines and hand tools, and support all areas of manufacturing while maintaining safety standards. Ideal candidates will have some engineering exposure, a valid reach truck or forklift licence is desirable, and a

Qualifications

• Engineering industry experience desirable but not essential.
• Valid reach truck and/or counterbalance forklift licences desirable.
• Hard working with a can-do attitude.
• Material handling knowledge desirable.
• Abrasive wheel certificate would be an advantage.
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Operation of Machine & Hand Tools.
• Perform any reasonable tasks as instructed.
• Cleaning of equipment/machines to maintain a good standard of general housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Working in an industrial environment.
• Keep the yard clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Working to targets individually or part of a team.
• Maintain high levels of Health & Safety standards.
