Job summary

Tigers Childcare in Naas, Co. Kildare, is seeking a full-time early years educator with leadership responsibilities to join our busy centre.

You will lead your room, plan with the Aistear and Siolta frameworks, and mentor colleagues to support children's development and wellbeing. Join a values-driven team in a growing Ireland childcare provider, with training, career progression, and a supportive community.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar early years leadership role.
• Fetac Level 6 (or recognised equivalent) in Early Childhood Education.
• Copies of qualifications and 2 written references.
• Garda Vetting and international police clearance if applicable.
• Leadership capability, reliability, empathy, and passion for working with children.

• Deliver high-quality, full-time early years care and education, leading your room and team to support children’s holistic development.
• Ensure curriculum planning and learning experiences align with Aistear and Siolta, maintaining compliance and quality standards.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Must-Haves

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar early years leadership role
• Fetac Level 6 (or recognised equivalent) in Early Childhood Education

• International police clearance if applicable (for those who have lived abroad 6+ months)
• Leadership capability, reliability, empathy, and passion for working with children

Nice-to-Haves

• Previous experience leading a team or managing a classroom
• Strong understanding of Aistear and Siolta frameworks
• Interest in developing a long‑term career in childcare leadership
