Rentokil Initial Careers is seeking a Rookie Pest Control Technician based in the South Donegal area. The role includes training and progression opportunities, with a base salary of €30,300 per annum, paid monthly.

You will service client premises, provide pest-control guidance, and maintain professional standards while building relationships with customers. A full driving licence is required, and no pest/phobia issues are expected.

Qualifications

• Full clean driving licence is required.
• Keen interest in pest control with no phobias of heights or pests.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Good time management to handle a busy workload.
• Enthusiasm to engage with every customer and identify new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain client base to a high standard.
• Offer expert pest control guidance to customers.
• Complete accurate reports for each call to inform clients of actions taken.
• Aim to provide one complete pest control solution for customers.
• Maintain a professional image through presentation and conduct.

Key Responsibilities

• To service and keep up to date with your client base to a high standard at all times
• To offer expert opinion and guidance to your customer on all aspects of pest control
• To complete accurate reports on every call, to ensure the client is fully informed of Rentokil Pest Control's actions on their premises.
• To strive to always offer your customer one complete solution to their pest control problem
• To project a professional image at all times through being clean and well presented

You don't need to be an expert in Pest Control, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Requirements

• Full clean driving licence
• Have a keen interest in Pest Control - Have no phobias regarding heights or pests
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Good Time Management - Your day will be busy with managing and prioritising your workload
• Enthusiasm is required to engage with every one of your customers, smile, say hello, and identify any opportunities to generate new business
