Job summary

Boots Ireland is seeking a Pharmacist for a fixed-term role in Dublin. You will provide expert care, advice and patient reassurance, while upholding legal and ethical standards in the pharmacy. You will support store teams and deliver a range of professional services to enhance patient care.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong communication with customers and colleagues, and a focus on safety and quality in day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers and external local professionals.
• Have a passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers.
• Be collaborative with a team-centered approach.
• Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services.
• Be a great communicator; able to put people at ease and effectively meet the varied needs of our customers and patients.

About the role

Contract: Fixed Term

Hours: 40 per week

Location: Dublin

As a Pharmacist with Boots Ireland you’ll be providing excellent customer and patient care, it’s more than dispensing medicine, it’s listening and providing your expert advice and reassurance. Your main areas of responsibility will be:

• Delivering the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice

• Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
• Conducting continual review through audit, observations and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety is paramount

What you’ll need to have

To be successful in this role you will have a professional, caring character and a true desire to help us deliver outstanding patient care. In addition, you will:
