Job summary

Eirtrans Limited in Ireland is seeking a Full-time driver to operate a range of company vehicles safely and efficiently, following parking, speed and road signage rules. You will complete vehicle checks, work as part of a team, and report maintenance issues to management.

The role requires a full clean Licence, Full C Licence, Driver CPC, tachograph card and manual handling certification, with a minimum 12 months driving experience.

Qualifications

• Full clean valid Driver’s Licence and at least 12 months verifiable driving experience.
• Full C Driver’s Licence.
• Holder of Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Driver Qualification Card and up to date CPC modules.
• Manual Handling Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring adherence to parking, speed and road signage.
• Work safely within Health and safety guidelines and carry out vehicle checks prior to commencement of work.
• Be flexible in approach, work effectively as part of a team and provide support in resolving problems with a can-do attitude.
• Report all vehicle maintenance issues to management.
• Adhere to the company Health & Safety Policy.
• Comply with drivers hours and working time directive, tachograph and break requirements.

• Work safely within the Health and safety environmental guidelines, and ensure all vehicle checks are carried out prior to commencement of work
• Are flexible in approach to work, and work effectively as part of a team, providing support in resolving problems and having a can‑do, right first time and passionate approach
• Report all vehicle maintenance issues to management
• Adhere to the Companies Health & Safety Policy
• Work within all legal parameters of drivers hours and working time directive legislation, being fully compliant with tachograph and break requirements
