Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Rigid Truck Driver for a full-time permanent role in Cork. The position offers Monday to Friday daytime hours from 07:30 to 16:30 with no weekend work and a view to long-term employment.

You will deliver safely and professionally, load/unload as needed, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain paperwork with a focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Full Category C (Rigid) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Tachograph Card.
• Previous rigid driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of Cork and surrounding areas is an advantage.
• Reliable, punctual and capable of working independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries completed safely and on time.
• Load and unload goods as required.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure delivery paperwork is accurate and complete.
• Maintain a professional manner when dealing with customers.
• Follow road safety procedures and company policies.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Rigid Truck Driver for a full-time position with an established company in Cork.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driver looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday daytime hours, with no weekend work.

The Role

As a Rigid Truck Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries safely and efficiently while providing a professional service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete scheduled deliveries in a safe and timely manner
• Load and unload goods where required
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately
