Job summary

The Building Company in Athlone is seeking a General Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the business unit. This permanent, site-based role involves helping customers with orders, loading and unloading vehicles, stocking the yard, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness while delivering friendly, efficient service.

You will assist customers and suppliers, complete wash bay activities, and contribute to upholding the company’s values and culture.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Good product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with orders.
• Assist with loading and offloading of Vehicles.
• Pack yard stock items.
• Cleaning and Safekeeping of vehicles.
• Provide assistance to customers and suppliers.
• Complete Wash Bay activities.
• Customer Service.
• Uphold and promote the company values and culture.
