Job summary

Sunbeam House Services in Bray, Co. Wicklow, is seeking a qualified Social Care Worker to join our residential services. You will support clients to achieve personal outcomes, develop potential, and assume positive roles at home and in the community.

Shifts will vary including days, sleepovers, weekends and unsociable hours. The role requires QQI Level 7 in Social Care, CORU registration (or eligibility), a driving licence, and a commitment to safeguarding and HIQA standards.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 7 in Social Care or foreign equivalent (validated by QQI).
• Registered with the Social Care Workers Registration Board by CORU.
• Hold a CORU-Approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU Registration.
• Eligible for registration with CORU (evidence required).
• A passion for promoting and empowering those you support.
• Team player willing to lone work as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of HIQA regulations and standards.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm, energy, and creativity.
• Hold a full driving licence and be willing to drive location vehicles.
• Can handle confidential information discreetly.
• Flexible to work a variety of rostered shifts over a seven-day period.
• Understanding and experience of therapeutic interventions.
