Job summary

Bimplus is hiring a Site Engineer (Residential) in Malahide, North Dublin. The role focuses on overseeing day-to-day on-site engineering and technical operations for a medium-sized residential developer operating 50+ units in Malahide and other sites in North Dublin.

Responsibilities include setting out, surveying, interpreting drawings, coordinating with site teams and subcontractors, maintaining records, and ensuring health and safety compliance. A competitive package is on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in on-site engineering for residential builds.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong coordination with site teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and surveying of building works using total station, GPS, laser levels, and other surveying equipment.
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and architectural/engineering details.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
• Liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager, design team, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate site records, survey information, inspection records, and relevant documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor works and ensure they are completed correctly and to programme.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
• Assist the management team with planning, programming, and monitoring progress.
