Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Civil Site Engineer for a residential development in Dundalk, Co. Louth. The role involves setting out, surveying and coordinating civil works on site, in close collaboration with the Site Manager and subcontractors.

You will ensure delivery to programme and specification, maintain high quality and safety standards, and keep accurate as-built records. This position offers a long-term project with a leading main contractor and attractive salary.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer.
• Experience on residential or civil projects.
• Strong setting-out experience using Total Station/GPS.
• Good knowledge of drainage, groundworks and infrastructure.
• Full driving licence and Safe Pass.

Responsibilities

• Setting out foundations, drainage, roads, utilities and external works.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Carrying out surveys, levels and as-built records.
• Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring progress.
• Ensuring works meet quality, programme and H&S requirements.
• Liaising with the site and design teams to resolve technical queries.
