Role Overview

The Research Staff Nurse will work directly with service users across the addiction service, conducting structured meetings, gathering relevant clinical and research data, and ensuring accurate input of this information into central web‑based system data system.

Addiction Services is seeking a motivated research nurse to join their team on a part‑time basis.

Criteria / Experience
  • Grade: Registered General Nurse (RGN)
  • Base location: Clondalkin/ Lucan, however travel to other clinics within the service area is required
  • Agency line of work available
  • Experience in addiction services (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
  • Confidence in accurate data collection and digital record keeping.
  • Engage with service users in a respectful professional manner.
  • Collect, record, and maintain high‑quality research and clinical data.
  • Enter data into a central web‑based data system.
  • Orientation will be provided
  • Access to a car is essential
  • Mobile and laptop will be provided.
  • Mileage expenses will be paid.
  • Immediate start.
  • Part‑time 20 hours a week
  • Monday to Friday Sunday
  • Flexible working days
