Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Assistant in Cognitive Neuroscience within UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

The successful candidate will work with Associate Professor Elaine Corbett and her laboratory team to conduct research examining the brain processes governing decision making. The successful candidate will perform the collection of electroencephalogram (EEG), electromyography (EMG), behavioural and eye tracking data, and neuropsychological assessment data and will receive in depth training in each of these techniques if necessary. The candidate will also assist with participant recruitment and data analysis. The candidate will have the opportunity to become an integral part of an active and collegiate laboratory team which comprises numerous postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers, providing a rich environment for exchanging ideas and learning new skills. The candidate will participate in regular lab meetings and journal club discussions with many opportunities for developing their skill sets and exploring their own research interests. Dr Corbett's lab is part of the Cognitive Neural Systems Research Group (https://cogneusys.com/ ) based in UCD, and affiliated with the Trinity College Institute for Neuroscience in Trinity College Dublin. The position will also involve working collaboratively on a project with Dr Méadhbh Brosnan (UCD School of Psychology).

Research Assistant Salary: €33,291 - €37,225 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent on qualifications and experience
