Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Renewable Energy Grants & Finance Executive to support the delivery of SEAI-funded solar and energy efficiency projects. This role is pivotal in managing grant applications, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating financial processes, and maintaining clear communication between clients, suppliers, and funding bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Grant Project Management & Quality Assurance – Oversee SEAI grant approval processes, ensuring full compliance with eligibility criteria and documentation standards. Liaise directly with SEAI representatives to track project progress and report key milestones. Maintain comprehensive records of all grant documentation to ensure audit readiness and data integrity. Prepare weekly reports on project progress for internal stakeholders.
- Financial Coordination & Reporting – Ensure financial operations related to cash collection, including reconciliation of payments, client invoicing and chasing payments. Use professional accounting platforms such as Xero and Stripe to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance – Ensure all pre-installation and post-installation documentation complies with SEAI program requirements, and energy efficiency standards. Manage SEAI re-works notifications, coordinating with operations to have these completed in a timely manner and submitted to the SEAI. Manage submission of Microgeneration and Mini-Generation applications to the ESB, ensuring all documents are submitted in advance of installation.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Act as a liaison between customers, operations, and funding bodies to facilitate smooth and timely project execution. Provide customers with professional guidance on documentation, grant eligibility, and funding timelines. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with SEAI and other relevant partners.
- Operational Coordination – Collaborate closely with internal finance and operations teams to ensure smooth running of the grant application and submission processes.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in grant administration, financial coordination, or project management, ideally within the renewable energy or public funding sector.
- Proficiency in Xero, Stripe, and other accounting or CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory frameworks, and audit processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong organisational abilities.
