Job summary

Veta Virtual seeks a WordPress Support Developer to own the full lifecycle of client websites, from concept to launch, across a live portfolio.

You will lead design direction, set up conversion tracking (GTM, Meta Pixel, GA4) and optimize performance while collaborating with non-technical teammates in a fully remote, LATAM/Europe friendly environment.

This mid‑to‑senior role offers competitive USD pay, 40 hours/week, 10 days PTO, and long-term growth as the web department scales.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on WordPress experience, including full site builds from concept to launch.
• Strong UI/UX design sensibility, with the ability to create mockups and wireframes (Figma, Canva, or similar).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of conversion rate optimization, with experience setting up conversion tracking.
• Comfortable managing themes, plugins, and page builders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including with non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with hosting environments and basic server-side checks.
• Experience handling task-based or ticket-based workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple small tasks efficiently.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work within or overlap with U.S. time zones.
• This role is open only to candidates based in LATAM & Europe.

Responsibilities

• Build complete WordPress websites from concept to launch.
• Lead design direction and create mockups.
• Set up conversion tracking (GTM, Meta Pixel, GA4) for sites.
• Monitor conversion rates and improve UI/UX to increase leads.
• Maintain and update existing WordPress sites: pages, posts, landing pages.
• Troubleshoot theme, plugin, and performance issues.
• Document fixes and processes for internal knowledge base.
• Communicate timelines and progress to non-technical teammates.
• Take on other web department responsibilities as they come up.
