Job summary

SSE PLC is seeking a Project Manager and Quality Inspector for the Warmer Homes programme. The role combines project management of retrofit projects with quality assurance, health and safety oversight, and compliance inspections across national schemes.

The position is permanent, full-time, with flexible first options and a hybrid work model. Travel to project sites and Dublin office attendance require a valid driving licence; salary ranges from €57,600 to €86,400 plus car/allowance and bonus.

Qualifications

project management experience within construction, retrofit, housing, or energy efficiency programmes.
experience conducting site inspections and quality assurance assessments.
knowledge of retrofit measures including insulation, heat pumps, ventilation, windows, doors, and renewable technologies.
experience monitoring contractor performance and compliance.
knowledge of the Warmer Homes Scheme, One Stop Shop, and Major Projects delivery environments.

Responsibilities

manage Warmer Homes Scheme projects from allocation to completion
coordinate homeowner engagement, contractor oversight, site inspections, and reporting
ensure safety, quality, SEAI requirements and compliance
balance delivery across 400 live projects nationally
link homeowners, contractors, programme management, and QA functions
