Job summary

Oxford Global Resources in Ireland seeks an experienced MES Engineer to advance manufacturing systems. You will design, configure and test Master Batch Records within MES, lead design reviews, and support shop floor integration.

Requires 3–4 years in pharma/biotech, GMP/EH&S knowledge, and the ability to drive projects to deadlines. Remote work from Dublin area with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
  • Broad technical experience in MES systems.
  • Experience in Syringe/Vial manufacturing operations or ability to learn quickly.
  • Knowledge of GMP & EH&S regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure and test Master Batch Records (MBRs) within MES across manufacturing functional areas.
  • Lead MBR design reviews with Operations, Process Development and Quality functions.
  • Draft, execute and review test scripts for MBR design.
  • Support MES system development and continuous improvement of MES business processes.
  • Provide training for EBR end-users (Supervisors, Operators, QA/Support staff).
  • Develop and update MES SOPs and manage MBR change requests with stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to change control timelines and CAPA processes.
  • Assist with equipment integration design/testing for MBR interaction with shop floor equipment (OSI PI, Recipe Managers, Siemens, Rockwell, Kepware OPC Server).
  • Resolve interface errors and stock discrepancies between ERP/MES.
