Job summary

Our client, a leading independent financial services provider, is expanding its Hedge Fund Accounting team in Ireland. As a Hedge Fund Accounting Supervisor, you will deliver accurate NAVs, review colleagues’ work, and ensure seamless client service while supporting junior staff.

You will manage a portfolio of hedge funds, sign off on reconciliations and journal entries, be the primary client contact, engage with auditors, assist with launches, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hedge fund accounting experience.
• Strong NAV calculations, reconciliations, and fund structures knowledge.
• Experience reviewing junior team members’ work.
• Excellent client-focused communication and deadlines management.
• Accountancy qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of hedge funds and ensure timely NAV production.
• Review and sign off on reconciliations, investor allocations, pricing, and journal entries.
• Be the first point of contact for clients and provide updates.
• Engage with auditors, legal teams and other stakeholders.
• Support fund launches and onboarding.
• Provide training and technical support to junior colleagues.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
