Job summary

FINEOS is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the AI-powered capabilities for the FINEOS AdminSuite. You will manage people, technical capability, and delivery across Scrum teams, ensuring alignment with the definition of done within the SDLC.

You will collaborate with product owners, architects, data scientists, and other cross-functional partners to influence design, drive improvements, and coach engineers while line managing and mentoring the team in a distributed setup mainly based in

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of technical leadership/coordination, preferably as engineering manager or equivalent.
• Line Management Experience including performance appraisals of direct reports.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise software products or programmes.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate one or more Scrum teams, responsible for software delivery against the definition of done.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members through regular feedback, mentoring, and performance management.
• Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and psychological safety.
• Own release coordination and act as the quality gate for the AI Core service with QA and data science.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and partner with Product Owners on backlog readiness and release planning.
• Proactively manage dependencies, risks, and impediments affecting delivery commitments.
• Ensure products meet standards for quality, security, reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Guide technical direction with Architects and Tech Leads; use metrics for improvement.
• Promote customer-centric decision making and support production issue management.
• Identify, deliver, and drive improvements and innovations within Platform.
