AA Euro Healthcare is recruiting Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) for relief and agency opportunities across Waterford City. We welcome recent Healthcare graduates and experienced HCAs who can commit to day, night and weekend shifts as required.

Applicants should have QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare, strong communication, driving licence desirable, Garda Vetting or willingness to complete, and be eligible to work in Ireland. Benefits include flexible scheduling and onboarding support.

AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) for relief and ongoing agency opportunities across Waterford City.

We are particularly interested in experienced HCAs and recent Healthcare graduates who can provide good weekly availability and flexibility across day, night and weekend shifts, depending on service requirements.

If you have recently completed your full QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare, this is an excellent opportunity to begin building your experience across healthcare and disability services.

Essential Requirements

• Full QQI Level 5 Major Award (8 modules/120 credits) in one of the following:
• - Healthcare Support
• - Nursing Studies
• - Health Service Skills
• - Community Health Services
• Good weekly availability and flexibility for agency work
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland
• Garda Vetting or willingness to complete the Garda Vetting process
• 3 x satisfactory references/statements of employment
• Current Manual Handling and CPR/First Aid certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A full driving licence is desirable, particularly for opportunities in locations with limited public transport

As these are relief/agency positions, hours are based on client requirements and are not guaranteed. We are therefore looking for candidates who can provide regular weekly availability and flexibility. Candidates who can work a combination of weekdays, nights and weekends will be best positioned for available shifts.
