Job summary

Noel Group is recruiting Health Care Assistants to join our relief team supporting healthcare facilities across Ireland, with placements in the Laois area. We are a Tier 2 supplier to the HSE.

Responsibilities include direct care, daily living activities, hygiene, nutrition, mobility assistance, and maintaining confidentiality with dignity. QQI/FETAC Level 5, BLS, and mobility handling skills are required; visa/GNIB and police clearance may be needed.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Patient Moving & Handling experience or training is required.
• Direct care and activities of daily living experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• To carry out assigned responsibilities involving direct care and all activities of daily living.
• To maintain standards of personal hygiene, dietary intake, physical and mental health.
• To ensure that care is carried out in an empathetic manner and that dignity is respected.
• To assist with patients mobility, using appropriate moving equipment when needed.
• To maintain the confidentiality of all information made available.
