Job summary

Prochem Engineering seeks a skilled Reliability Engineer to join its Fill and Finish manufacturing operations on a 12-month contract in Waterford, Ireland. You will drive equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and optimize asset performance in a sterile manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
3–5 years of experience in reliability engineering, preferably pharma or sterile manufacturing environments.
Experience with Fill and Finish operations or aseptic processing is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles, RCA, FMEA, and RCM; data analysis proficiency.
GMP knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing standards.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead reliability improvement initiatives for Fill and Finish equipment, including filling lines and ancillary equipment.
Develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to maximize uptime and OEE.
Perform RCA and FMEA for failures and chronic reliability issues; monitor MTBF and MTTR.
Review and optimize preventive maintenance schedules based on criticality and history.
Collaborate with maintenance, production, QA and engineering to update SOPs and work instructions.
Support qualification and validation activities for equipment modifications and improvements; participate in change control and GMP compliance.
