BD in Limerick, Ireland is hiring a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support CE marking, MDR/MDD compliance, and regulatory submissions for medical devices. You will collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Engineering to ensure regulatory readiness and sustained compliance.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, plus experience with Class IIa/IIb devices, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and IEC 60601 standards. On-site four days per week at Limerick.

BD is hiring a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join the BD team in Limerick, Ireland. This is an exiciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting both new and existing medical device products, partnering closely with R&D, Quality, Engineering and other cross functional teams. The Regulatory Affairs function at BD combine knowledge of scientific, regulatory, and business issues to enable products that are developed, manufactured and distributed to meet applicable regulatory requirements and applicable technical standards. The Regulatory Affairs Specialist must gain department and platform influence by co-operating in all RA accomplishments and sharing regulatory knowledge of demonstrating compliance with changing global regulations, also identifying, preparing and collecting data needed to obtain and maintain certifications and commercialization authorizations of BD products. You will have in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in own job family. Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations. Works independently with minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience Positions in the professional & technical career track contain jobs that require the consistent application of knowledge in a specialized area. Typically, a university degree is required. Serves as a professional individual contributor / technical expert career ladder.
