About Ormonde Veterinary Hospital

Located in Kilkenny, Ormonde Veterinary Hospital is an independent practice proudly serving the local community with compassionate and high-quality veterinary care. Our skilled vets, nurses and support staff work closely to deliver personalised care for every pet and client who walks through our doors.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our nursing team you will:

  • Be hands-on in theatre with anaesthesia monitoring
  • Support vets during consultations
  • Perform nurse consultations and deliver high-quality care to hospitalised patients.
  • Communicate warmly and professionally with clients
  • Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and organisation throughout the clinic
About the Role

You’ll work alongside an experienced and supportive nursing team, taking part in a wide mix of duties including consultations, theatre and surgical support, inpatient monitoring, pharmacy tasks, lab work, and client care. This role allows you to put your full range of nursing skills into practice each day. This is a full time roll with no Sundays, bank holidays or night-time work, offering a balanced and predictable schedule.
